It was in 1999 that PiranaZ sank their teeth into the racing market. The debut of PiranaZ’s motorsports based line in the world of racing, quickly made PiranaZ a racetrack favorite. PiranaZ’s bright color, irreverent slogans, and edgy designs made PiranaZ a favorite for both young and not so young race fans.
In 2002 PiranaZ was looking for a drag race team to sponsor with the look, enthusiasm, and energy that would project their “to the bone” company image. They found the right combination in Mark Whisnant and his RW Performance Team. PiranaZ and Whisnant went on to a successful 2 years relationship. PiranaZ went on to sponsor Greg Stanfield , Ben Watson, Douglas Horne, Jr. Pippin and Houston’s Home town Favorite Erica Enders.
